WHERE IS YOUR ACTUAL OFFICE LOCATED?

Currently, all appointments are by telepsychiatry for California and NY residents only. Once the COVID-19 situation has improved, a physical office in Westchester, NY is planned.

WHAT IS YOUR FEE AND PAYMENT STRUCTURE?

Payment for charges is due in full at the time services are provided, unless prior arrangements have been made. Credit cards and Venmo are the accepted forms of payment. Credit card payments may be securely made using the patient portal.


  • Initial evaluation (adult new patient, 60 mins): $360

  • Initial evaluation (child and adolescent new patient, 90 mins): $560

  • Follow-up visit (established adult patient, 30 mins): $200 and for 60 mins follow up: $300

  • Follow up visit (established child and adolescent patient, 30 mins): $250 and for 60 mins follow up: $350

  • Psychotherapy (established patients, 45-50 mins): $260.

  • Phone calls (lasting over 10 minutes): $40 per additional 10 min

  • Cancellations (with less than 24 hrs notice): 75% of appointment fee

  • No shows: 100% of appointment fee

  • Requests for paperwork including treatment summary reports and/or contacting schools, is billed at my hourly rate of $300.

  • Any balances due, will need to be paid in full prior to scheduling an appointment.

  • The above fees are subject to changes, however, any changes will be discussed with you in advance. These fees are updated and effective as of 9/27/2020.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CONTACT YOU DURING NON-OFFICE HOURS?

Please limit after-hours phone calls to urgent situations. If your situation is non urgent, call the office and leave a message; and I will return your call within 24-48hrs. You can also use the patient portal for non-urgent questions. Please refer to my policies to read more about medication refills and telephone policy. In an emergency, call 911 or go to your closest Emergency Room. If I am out of town or on vacation, I will sometimes arrange for another psychiatrist to cover my patients, but the covering psychiatrist will have limited prescribing ability.

I do not accept insurance at this time.


In order to protect quality of care and privacy, I currently provide treatment on an out of network basis. This means that I am not a participating physician with any governmental or commercial health insurance plans. As part of the invoicing process and upon completion of your payment for services, you will receive a statement (called a “superbill”) that contains the necessary documentation if you choose to personally submit a claim for partial reimbursement for out of network coverage with your insurer.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?

The frequency of appointments will be recommended based on your individual needs (such as severity of symptoms), type of appointment (medication management vs recurring psychotherapy), and treatment plan. However, it is expected that all patients be seen at least every three months (four times a year) to ensure the quality of psychiatric care.
